Wrapped in a nauvari saree of marigold and rose, Sayali carried the spirit of a Maharashtrian bride — the mundavalya across her brow, green and gold chuda on her wrists, and mehndi telling its quiet story. Ved met her with an easy warmth, the two of them framed by garlands of white and coral roses. From the Antarpat lowered between them and the verses of the Mangalashtak, to the seven sacred steps of the Saptapadi, every ritual was a blessing showered in petals by the families who love them.
